Job Description
- As a Business Analyst - Logistics Analyst at Genpact, your role involves monitoring and analyzing the movement of goods for Brokerage. You will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery, identifying issues or delays, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to efficiently resolve problems. Leveraging data and tracking systems, you will provide visibility, generate reports, and drive process improvements to enhance material delivery on time. Key Responsibilities: - Tracking and Tracing Shipments: - Monitor the location and status of shipments throughout the supply chain. - Update tracking information in the company's system. - Proactively contact carriers and drivers to ascertain the location of shipments. - Manage a portfolio of loads, potentially handling a high volume of shipments. - Communication and Customer Service: - Communicate with customers regarding shipment status and potential delays. - Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to shipments. - Provide timely and accurate updates to customers. - Data Entry and Record Keeping: - Maintain accurate records of shipments and their status. - Enter data into the company's logistics system. - Prepare shipping documents and labels. - Problem Solving: - Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies. - Identify and suggest improvements to logistics processes. - Other Potential Responsibilities: - Coordinate with other departments, such as warehousing and transportation. - Assist with inventory management. - Prepare reports on shipment performance. - Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and documentation. Qualification Required: - Minimum qualifications: - B Tech/BE/MBA/MCA - Required Skills: - Sound knowledge of MS-Excel - Experience in supply chain, logistics, or a similar role. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and generate insights. - Proficiency in supply chain tracking tools and software (e.g., ERP, TMS, Brokerage applications). - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. - Ability to handle a high volume of shipments and inquiries. - Experience with data entry and record-keeping. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities. - Preferred Skills: - Experience with supply chain visibility platforms. - Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau). - Understanding of logistics and transportation networks.,
