Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Civil Design Engineer Water to join our design and engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, drainage system design, and flood analysis using advanced water modeling and GIS tools. The role involves working on diverse water-related infrastructure projects including stormwater management, drainage design, floodplain studies, and hydrologic assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and analyze hydrologic and hydraulic models for stormwater, surface runoff, and drainage systems.
- Prepare designs, drawings, and reports related to water conveyance systems, culverts, channels, and retention structures.
- Conduct floodplain mapping and flood risk assessments using HEC-RAS and Flo2D.
- Perform drainage design calculations and stormwater management using HydroCAD and FlowMaster.
- Analyze hydraulic structures such as culverts and bridges using HY-8.
- Utilize QGIS / ArcGIS for spatial analysis, mapping, and integration of hydraulic models with geospatial data.
- Review, interpret, and validate survey and topographical data for modeling purposes.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including civil, structural, and environmental engineers.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, drawings, and design reports adhering to relevant standards and project requirements.

Preferred Skills:
- Strong understanding of hydrology and hydraulics principles.
- Experience in water resource planning and flood risk management.
- Ability to interpret and apply design codes and standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
- Strong communication and coordination abilities for cross-functional collaboration.
