Job Description
Role Overview:
The Senior Research Analyst leads complex loan operations and portfolio servicing for institutional clients. The role requires strong expertise in AFS Vision and Fiserv Premier, understanding of syndicated loan structures, and the ability to oversee reconciliations, control validations, and system migrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end loan lifecycle management origination booking, funding, rollovers, interest accruals, repayments, and closures.
- Review complex credit agreements and agency notices to validate facility setups and servicing instructions.
- Manage data remediation and control reviews across AFS Vision / Fiserv Premier portfolios.
- Supervise and QC team outputs on rate resets, fee processing, amortization, and payment reconciliations.
- Act as SME for loan system configurations, data mapping, and reconciliation frameworks.
- Support system migrations and portfolio conversions
- Interface with client loan operations, agency desks, and technology teams to resolve exceptions.
- Prepare MIS dashboards, error-rate analytics, and monthly SLA reports.
- Train and mentor junior analysts in process accuracy, documentation, and controls.
Required Skills and Experience:
- 48 years in loan operations or syndicated lending functions for institutional clients.
- Deep understanding of loan booking, servicing, and secondary loan trading workflows.
- Hands-on experience with AFS Vision and/or Fiserv Premier (setup, rate resets, payment posting, reporting).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- Exposure to U.S. or global loan servicing environments.
