Job Description
The Oracle Project Manager (Offshore) supports the Onshore Project Manager in managing the full lifecycle of Oracle implementation projects from initiation through post-Go Live. This role is active primarily during build activities and continues through stabilization. The Offshore PM works closely with Oracle consultants and IT teams to ensure successful delivery, release management, and change management.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management
Plan and allocate resources effectively for projects and change requests (CHGs).
Ensure secure planning and execution of multiple concurrent projects.
Collaborate on high-level project plans with the Onshore Project Manager.
Develop detailed project plans with Oracle Solution Architect, Functional/Technical Leads, and QA Manager.
Provide regular status updates and highlight deviations to the Onshore PM.
Ensure compliance with SDLC policies and procedures.
Track and communicate RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues, Decisions) to stakeholders.
Manage handover to support teams and coordinate monthly CHG releases.
Act as Release Manager for all Oracle IT releases.
