Job Description
Role & responsibilities
The position is part of the Regional Office and Project Commercial team, responsible for controlling and coordinating commercial activities across regions. The role involves assisting and reporting to the HODCommercial.
- Budgeting & Cost Control
- Collect and consolidate data for annual budget preparation.
- Monitor achievement of budget targets and implement cost optimization measures.
- Track and analyse cost variances against norms and budgets.
- Commercial Analysis
- Review cost impacts due to scope changes, omissions, and value engineering.
- Monitor resource utilization (materials, formwork, staff) and highlight impacts.
- Ensure contracts remain financially viable and on budget.
- Financial & System Management
- Ensure timely and accurate data booking in SAP.
- Review project cash flows with Finance & Accounts.
- Prepare and submit monthly P&L statements and variance analysis.
- Billing & Receivables
- Ensure timely submission and certification of client bills.
- Monitor receivables, deductions, and raise alerts for inconsistencies.
- Risk & Opportunity Management
- Identify and analyse project-wise risks and opportunities for cost impact.
- Monitor variations and claims for prompt realization.
- Subcontract Management
- Review comparative statements for subcontractors and ensure compliance.
- Monitor subcontract procurement plans and cost optimization targets.
- Process & Training
- Ensure implementation of commercial processes.
- Conduct commercial training for regional/project teams.
- Review audit points and implement corrective actions.
Preferred candidate profile
1- B.E in civil Engineering
2- Core experience in commercial and residential projects
