Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and data-driven Manager Programmatic Revenue to lead programmatic monetization strategy and revenue growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in programmatic advertising, ad space sales, SSP partnerships, Ad Networks, publisher monetization, yield optimization, and analytics, with a proven ability to scale digital advertising revenue.
The candidate should have at least 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, with exposure to US audiences and US-based publishers. This role requires a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in programmatic platforms, strong partner management skills, and the ability to translate data insights into measurable revenue impact.
Key Responsibilities
Programmatic Revenue Strategy
- Own and drive programmatic revenue growth across display, video, mobile app, and desktop web inventory.
- Develop and execute monetization strategies to maximize yield, ad performance, and fill rates.
- Identify new revenue opportunities across SSPs, Ad Exchanges, demand partners, and direct ad space sales.
- Monitor revenue KPIs such as eCPM, fill rate, viewability, and RPM and implement optimization plans.
Ad Sales & Demand Development
- Drive sales of digital ad inventory and programmatic ad space across multiple channels.
- Work closely with agencies, advertisers, and demand partners to increase revenue opportunities.
- Manage monetization for mobile apps, desktop web properties, and social platforms.
Strategic Partnerships & Demand Management
- Manage relationships with SSPs, Ad Networks, Agencies, and demand partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and drive incremental revenue opportunities.
- Expand and strengthen strategic partnerships to improve overall monetization performance.
- Collaborate with partners to test new ad formats, targeting solutions, and product innovations.
Analytics & Optimization
- Analyze large datasets to identify performance gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Work closely with Ad Ops and Analytics teams to improve campaign performance and yield.
- Provide regular revenue reports, forecasts, and actionable insights to leadership.
Platform & Technical Expertise
- Manage and optimize ad inventory using platforms and tools such as:
- Google Ad Manager (formerly DFP)
- Google Ad Exchange
- Facebook Ads / Facebook Audience Network
- Mobile advertising tools (MoPub / mobile ad platforms)
- Desktop web ad monetization platforms
- Google Analytics
- Google Tag Manager
- Ensure smooth implementation of header bidding, programmatic integrations, and new ad formats.
- Partner with product and engineering teams to improve monetization frameworks.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and mentor a small team responsible for programmatic revenue operations.
- Work closely with Sales, Product, Ad Operations, and Finance teams to align revenue goals.
- Support direct client interactions when required for programmatic deals and PMP setups.
- Lead revenue improvement projects from planning to execution.
Required Skills & Competencies

Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in AdTech, Digital Media, or Online Advertising
- Proven track record of driving revenue through programmatic advertising and ad sales
- Experience working with US-based publishers and targeting US audiences
