Job Description
Job Title: Billing Specialist
Department: Finance & Accounts
Experience: 2 to 5 Years
Industry Preference: Banking / Financial Services
Job Purpose:
To manage billing operations, ensure accurate invoice processing and reconciliation, and support Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions in compliance with financial regulations and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end billing processes including invoice generation, validation, and dispatch
- Perform invoice reconciliation and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Support Accounts Payable (AP): invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR): tracking receivables, follow-ups, and collections
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for billing queries and issue resolution
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting related to billing and accounts
- Maintain proper documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Ensure adherence to banking regulations, company policies, and internal controls
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelors degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2 to 5 years of experience in billing, AP, AR, and reconciliation within banking/financial services
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
