UX Designer (Figma + Storybook)Location: Indore or Pune
Working Hours: Flexible, with overlap until 12 to 1 PM ESTEngagement: Immediate
Role Description
We are seeking a UX Designer to support the design and evolution of internal platforms within a market risk technology environment. This role focuses on translating business and engineering discussions into structured user experiences, while contributing to a scalable design system aligned with engineering.
Design work is driven by live collaboration rather than fully defined specifications. The role requires comfort with ambiguity, speed of execution, and strong communication with both business and technology teams.
Role Objectives
- Translate business and engineering discussions into clear UX flows and interface designs
- Modernize legacy interfaces into consistent, scalable user experiences
- Contribute to and help establish a component-based design system aligned with engineering
- Create and maintain Figma assets that map cleanly to reusable components
- Support adoption of structured workflows across design and development
- Engage with business stakeholders to clarify requirements and improve usability
- Develop wireframes, flows, and high-fidelity designs in Figma
- Structure complex, data-heavy workflows into intuitive user journeys
- Partner with engineering to align designs with component-based implementation
- Contribute to initial setup and evolution of a shared component library
- Participate in working sessions with business and technology teams
- Identify gaps in existing designs and drive structured improvements
- Balance speed and clarity in a fast-moving delivery environment
- 5 to 8 years of UX design experience in enterprise or internal platforms
- Strong proficiency in Figma, including components, variants, and libraries
- Experience contributing to design systems or component libraries
- Familiarity with Storybook or similar tools in a design-to-development workflow
- Ability to operate effectively with evolving or incomplete requirements
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage business stakeholders
- Experience designing for data-intensive or workflow-heavy applications
- Exposure to financial services or risk platforms
- Experience with design tokens and scalable design systems
- Prior experience working closely with frontend engineering teams
- Works under senior design leadership initially
- Partners closely with architecture and engineering leads
- Expected to evolve into direct interaction with business stakeholders
