Job Description:-
We are looking for a dynamic and strategic Sales Manager to oversee pharmaceutical sales operations across West Bengal, based out of Bengal. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in field sales, strong leadership skills, and in-depth knowledge of the pharmaceutical market in Western India.
- Sales Strategy & Target Achievement:
- Develop and implement zonal sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Monitor team performance and ensure timely execution of business plans.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead and manage a team of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Medical Representatives (MRs).
- Conduct regular training, coaching, and performance reviews to enhance productivity and skill levels.
- Market Development:
- Expand business reach in key cities and rural markets across Rajasthan and Gujarat.
- Identify new opportunities and ensure penetration of company products across all assigned regions.
- Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), distributors, stockists, and institutional clients.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams for effective implementation of promotional strategies.
- Operational Excellence:
- Ensure effective stock and supply chain management in coordination with distribution partners.
- Monitor competitor activities and respond with proactive strategies.
- Reporting & Compliance:
- Submit timely sales and performance reports.
- Ensure team adherence to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience in pharmaceutical field sales with a successful track record in managing zonal/regional teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- In-depthknowledge of the North Indian pharmaceutical market, especially the covered cities.
- Willingness to travel extensively across the zone.
