Inviting applications for the role of SM,Supply Chain Subject Matter Expert
This role supports supply chain business development/ growth teams at Genpact with technical supply chain expertise and in-depth knowledge of the company s global supply chain services.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with internal and external stakeholders to assess supply chain needs and objectives, design effective solutions and build the business case for implementation
- Manage and deliver components of client engagements that identify, design, and implement creative business solutions for medium and large companies
- Manage solutions through identification of business requirements, functional design, as-is and to-be process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), training requirements, defining support procedures, governance mechanism and risk assessment
- Develop and maintain contact with top decision makers at key clients; organize and lead pursuit teams; participate and lead aspects of solution development process
- Actively participates in the implementation of supply chain service strategies through prioritized market needs, focusing on those with the greatest opportunity
- Make recommendations for changes to engagements or additional service opportunities. Monitor implementation process, step-in to aid and guide when needed to ensure same
- Perform analysis and complete optimization studies for complex, global Supply Chains. Collaboration with internal and external Supply Chain Leaders to architect or improve Client Supply Chains
- Work independently, supporting the business globally in various time-zones
Qualifications:
- Rich consulting or service line or supply chain operations experience
- Bachelors/ Postgraduate preferably in Supply Chain
- Knowledge/ expertise in tools such as Kinaxis, O9, OMP, D365, JDA/ Blue Yonder or any other similar technology preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments within a structured implementation methodology
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS Visio, MS PowerPoint) and other process mapping tools
- Good problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment
- In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (i.e., Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, Spend management, Operating model design, Warehousing & Logistics)
- Demonstrated experience as a senior resource leading in the definition of systems strategy, gathering and documenting business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, as-is and to- be business process designs and running pilot programs
- Client relationship management and account management skills with experience in leading mid-large size deals and project delivery
- Excellent people management skills with strong focus on quality delivery
- Commitment to gaining exposure in multiple industries; experience mentoring junior staff
- Translate customer needs through supply chain assessment and analysis. Has ability to match the defined needs to create a customer solution for global proposals
- Reactive to stated customer needs with relevant services and straightforward modifications, satisfying customer requirements
- Can solve complex problems; bring new perspective using existing/ new solutions
- Use best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products/services or processes
- Must have experience collaborating with clients on business process enhancements
- Travel up to 25% (While 25% of travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
