System Engineer @ Leading Automotive

Job Description

Role & responsibilities

• Development and optimization of occupant restraint systems
• Planning and coordination of all system relevant engineering activities (CAE and testing)
• Analysis and presentation of results from CAE, sled tests and crash tests
• Responsible contact for product engineering (Airbag, Seatbelt, Steering Wheel) and customer with respect to occupant safety system performance

Preferred candidate profile

• M. Sc. in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering or equivalent
• Strong background in mechanics
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Team player, good in communication, committed and efficient

Profile desired:

• Knowledge of legal requirements and consumer ratings in occupant safety
• Proficiency in software applications DIADEM, XCrash, Hyperworks
• Knowledge in Occupant and Crash Testing
• Knowledge in Occupant and Crash Simulation (CAE)
