DEP is hiring Motor Design & Calibration Engineer with Below mentions Skills.
Location: Chennai
Notice Period: Immeidate to Max 45 Days
- 10+Yrs of Experience
- Base Knowledge in Motor Design for PMSM/SyncRM/SRM
- Involved in Motor Electrical Core Design
- Understanding in Motor Electro-Magnetic Design
- Analyse to validate motor designs and ensure compliance with performance specifications.
- Optimize motor performance in terms of power density, efficiency, and thermal management.
- Provide support for the assembly and testing of prototype motors, addressing any issues that arise during the development phase.
- DFMEA of motor core parts
- Collaborate with the cost engineering team to optimize motor designs and calibration processes for cost-effectiveness without compromising performance.
- Work experiences in Motor selection and Electric Vehicle Calibration,
- Hands-on experience in HV system
- Motor to MCU integration/Commissioning
- Develop and implement calibration strategies for electric vehicle motors to achieve optimal performance.
- VCU Integration
- Application/Duty-cycle Mapping
- Throttle/Power Mapping
- Lab-level Dyno Calibration
- Power Optimization & Trouble shooting
- Vehicle level Drive-train Calibration
- Drive-train testing support
- Vehicle Performance testing support
- Fine-tune control algorithms to enhance motor efficiency, torque delivery, and overall vehicle dynamics.
- Collaborate with software engineers to integrate and implement calibration algorithms into motor control systems.
- Testing Instruments & Equipments Knowledge
- Power Analyser
- Digital CRO
- Data Logger / NI Instruments
- Motor Lab setup
- Data Analysis
- Vector CAN tools CANalyzer/CANape
- 4 Wheeler vehicle driving
