Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution and supervision of canal works from initial excavation to final finishing
• Handling all stages of canal construction including:
• Surveying and layout
• Earthwork excavation
• Subgrade preparation
• Lining (CC lining / brick lining / geomembrane lining)
• Construction and supervision of small structures, such as:
• SLRB (Single Lane Road Bridge)
• DSLRB (Double Lane Road Bridge)
• CD Works (Culverts, Aqueducts, Syphons, etc.)
• Ensuring quality control as per project specifications and standards
• Monitoring daily progress and maintaining site reports
• Coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and site teams
• Ensuring adherence to safety standards and site regulations
• Quantity estimation, measurements, and billing support
